Job Overview

This project involved restoring worn oak hardwood floors in a home located in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach. The floors had heavy traffic wear, deep scratches, pet damage areas and dull finish areas from years of use.

The Problem

The homeowner wanted to restore the natural beauty of their hardwood floors without replacing them.

The existing finish had worn away in high traffic areas, exposing the wood underneath. One major issue was the last person that finished the floors left a lot of indentations in the floor from faulty equipment and poor execution.

Our Solution

We sanded the floors down to bare wood, flattened and smoothed the floor to a tabletop finish , applied new sealer and applied a new protective finish.

This restored the smooth appearance of the floor and protected the wood for years to come.
