Reviews and Testimonials for Conley's Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Conley Hardwood Floor Refinish is a hands down YES - get him to do your floors! Tyler does an absolute incredible job. He’s a consummate professional, timely, detail oriented, kind, subject matter expert, and driven to ensure your job is done to perfection. I have attached photos, with the first 8 showcasing AFTER first and BEFORE second, to allow you to see the final finish and where it started. The subsequent photos capture all AFTER shots. The revitalization of the wood and his refinish is a stunner from what the house was prior to the job. The house, with three bedrooms, a den, a dining room, and parlor/gallery were all hardwood, taking up the majority of 1600 square feet. He was able to execute the entire job in four days and help minimize time away from the house. I cannot recommend and endorse Conley Hardwood Floor Refinishing strong enough. It was a pleasure meeting Tyler and the work he did was beyond outstanding! You will not go wrong with him and this company!

Tyler did a fantastic job! We have about 1100sqft of hardwood floors in our downstairs. He absolutely crushed it! Walked us through the process every step of the way. Had another estimate from a competitor. Spent 5 minutes measuring and walked out the door. Tyler discussed with us about our options and preferences. In the end we have a beautiful downstairs hardwood floor that is no longer orange and moldy. Would highly recommend Tyler for any residential or commercial refinishing.

I’ve seen a lot of good craftsmen over the years, but after working with Tyler, I now understand what exceptional results look like. He is the best hardwood floor refinisher in Norfolk and Hampton Roads area. He took 100 year old extremely worn wood floors and restored them beyond their original beauty. You’ll appreciate so much about Tyler when you work with him: great communication skills, honesty, humor, and extraordinary craftsmanship.

Tyler was absolutely amazing to work with! He was able to fit us in quickly on his schedule and knocked out the project in just 3 days. We knew the floors needed some love, but Tyler’s work on them has brought a whole new life to this 100 year old home. It looks like a completely different house because of his work. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found him!! Thank you for everything!

Tyler did an amazing job refinishing our original hardwood floors! His knowledge of what older hardwood floors needed really showed. He was easy to work with from start to finish and we were so impressed by his communication while we were trying to get our house ready to move into from out of state. Tyler’s pricing was super reasonable and he didn’t try to oversell us like other companies I spoke to in the area. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend him!

Tyler surpassed all of my expectations with a short notice project. He met my time frame and my budget. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who would need hard wood floor refinishing. Thank you, Tyler.

I contracted Conley's to refinish my living room and hallway floors that were last done 30 years ago by my late husband. Tyler the proprietor has a heart of gold. While inspecting floors he inquired about some of the markings and border he saw. He carefully listened to my story about my husband's so called designs then to my surprise he was concerned about it's sentimental value to me and asked if I wanted to keep anything. Right then I knew I hired the right person. Tyler careful explained everything he was going to do and educated me about the art of floor refinishing. He refinished my 62 year old floors so good they look like they did when the house was built. If you ever require floor refinishing services Tyler is your guy

Tyler Conley is an absolute master of his craft! Our 100-year-old floors were severely scratched, stained, and looked completely lifeless. We were worried they were beyond saving, but Tyler completely transformed them.It is incredibly rare to find this level of craftsmanship and dedication nowadays. Because Tyler works solo, he treats your home with the utmost respect, pays meticulous attention to detail, and takes immense pride in every single square foot. He carefully preserved the historic character of the century-old wood while erasing decades of wear and tear. The communication was flawless, the pricing was fair, and his dust-containment setup left our house remarkably clean. If you have historic floors that need a true expert's touch, do not hesitate to hire Tyler. Our home has its soul back!

Our hardwood floor in the living room and dining room has been refinished by Tyler. Great job! Our floor looks awesome. Just like brand new floor. Thank you.

Tyler was EXCELLENT! He was always on time, showing up with a personality that made him an easy person to like, and he definitely knows his craft! He explained each step of the project as he took the hardwood floors that had an old beat up finish which was over a stain that I did not like, down to the beautiful bare wood. It is now a smooth, even floor with a great finish. The first day was a challenge due to an unforseen problem with a strong adhesive residue on part of the hardwood. It seemed almost impossible to remove. However, he resolved the issue and proceded as if it was an everyday thing. Even with the first day challenge, the project was completed within the original timetable. The cost was well within his estimate - worth every penny and more. I love, love, LOVE my "new" floor... THANK YOU TYLER!!!

Excellent job!!! Tyler was knowledgeable and professional.

Tyler took horrible dark floors and made them amazing. He has been transparent, communicative, respectful, and professional every step of the way. I would highly recommend him for any flooring work!

Our floors really needed some help and Tyler was the perfect guy for the job! He came right out to our home, assessed our floors, and completed the job efficiently and they look amazing!! Then, we scuffed a small area when we were moving furniture back😔 I reached out to him and he came right out and retreated the area! He was so easy to work with and also has the best stories!! Delightful experience! We highly recommend Conley’s flooring!
